Iggy Koopa is one of the seven Koopalings, a clan of seven siblings that act as leaders of the Koopa Troop under Bowser. In later appearances, he is shown to be the skinniest of the Koopalings.

History[]

Mario and the Jambastions 2: The Time Twister Adventures[]

Iggy Koopa makes his Mario and the Jambastions series debut in Mario and the Jambastions 2: The Time Twister Adventures, where he serves as the fourth main boss in the game. He appears in the Jungle Chamber with five Power Crystals.

Iggy is encountered in his airship. When he sees the player, he is falsely shocked by its appearance. He reveals his wand, and then he taunts the player by slapping his behind with his wand.

Boss Fight[]

Iggy has 3 hit-points to defeat him. He also shoots green fireballs to attack the player and the speed of these fireballs are the fastest in the game, along with Morton. Like other bosses, he retreats to his shell, but his shell moves much faster than the others. After he has no more hit-points left, Iggy is defeated and grants an Amethyst.

Mario and the Jambastions 3: The World of Gems[]

Iggy Koopa serves as the fourth boss in Mario and the Jambastions 3: The World of Gems.

Tower Boss Fight[]

Iggy is first encountered at the Rising Poison Tower. He will taunt him once again before battling the player. Here, he jumps between the main floor and three moving platforms. He uses his wand to shoot green fireballs, although this time, the boss room is purple-colored with poisonous water and Poison Bubbles that jump out of the poison. When he is attacked, he retreats into his shell and starts moving. After he lost all of his hit-points remaining, he will retreat to the Amethyst Castle.

Castle Boss Fight[]

Iggy is in a carriage attached to an average-sized Chain Chomp. Kamek suddenly flies in and triples the Chain Chomp's size. The player must get behind the Big Chain Chomp and attack Iggy, who still shoots green fireballs from his wand. If the player strikes him, the Big Chain Chomp turns red, turn around its direction, and start moving fast for a short time. After the player strikes Iggy twice, the Big Chain Chomp becomes faster, giving the player less time to react. Eventually, Iggy is defeated, and the player(s) will be able to go to the final section.
